After having a baby, you may notice:

  • Less time, energy, or emotional space for each other, particularly with sleep disruption and caregiving demands

  • Communication becoming more practical and task-focused, with fewer moments of emotional connection

  • Changes in intimacy and closeness

  • Feeling more sensitive or reactive with each other, sometimes leading to increased conflict

  • Tension around how the mental load, caregiving, and emotional support are shared

Our couples therapists are trained in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Perinatal Psychology, meaning we understand the unique emotional and developmental contours of this journey.

Couples sessions are not eligible for a rebate under Medicare.

Private Health Insurance

Couples therapy may be eligible for rebates through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. We recommend contacting your insurer to confirm eligibility.

Payments are processed automatically at the end of consultations using stored credit card details.
